Kinesiology is the study of movement.    Since the body is constantly expressing what is happening internally, Energy Kinesiology addresses movement of the whole person -- body, mind, and spirit.
Dee and Will have developed a multi-modality Energy Kinesiology practice, which includes Touch for Health, Neural Organization Technique, Three-in-One, Flower Essences, Essential Oils, and Kinergetics.     As energy kinesiologists, Dee and Will facilitate and assist with enrichment, growth, vitality, and relationships affected by:
  • accidents
  • physical, emotional, and birth traumas
  • operations
  • structural imbalances
  • digestive issues
  • allergies
  • reading, writing, and spelling skills
  • disorganiztion
  • procrastination
  • lack of focus
  • inability to make choices
  • attention deficit
  • spatial locations (knowing right from left, up from down, top from bottom)
  • imbalance.
Kinesiology uses muscle testing techniques to determine the need for and effectiveness of treatment.    This technique allows for testing specific muscles weakness and restores muscle balance.    You should realize that we are not just treating muscles.    The body is all one thing, a coherent whole, with many different functions.
Muscle Testing is used in Energy Kinesiology to determine what the body needs.   Muscle testing is a non-invasive, biofeedback tool developed in the 1960s that utilizes the change in muscle tone.    Muscle testing can be used to access the body's intelligence on the cellular level.    For example, Julie, the facilitator, asks Fred to stand in front of a group, extend one arm out to the side, and hold it firmly in place.    First, Julie presses on Fred's arm to establish a benchmark for his strength.    Then, she places a common allergen, white sugar, into his hand, asking him to continue to hold his arm firm.    However, Julie can depress Fred's arm easily.    When Julie removes the sugar, Fred is able to hold his arm firmly in place.

Once again, Julie asks Fred to hold his arm firmly in place while she attemps to depress it.    His arm holds firm.    Then, Julie asks Fred to try really hard to hold your arm strong.    This time Fred's arm is easily depressed.

Why does this phenomenon occur?

When a person's body registers stress, it reacts with weakened muscles.    Fred's body perceived stress from the allergen, since Fred was allergic to sugar.    Mental stress "try really hard" also effects the neurological path and results in muscle weakness.
Neural Organization Technique uses a series of protocols to integrate and organize the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of dysfunction.    It helps to restore body systems to their original, efficient functions and significantly enhance wellness and well being.

Neural organization affects balance, front to back, side to side, and top to bottom, and when we sit or stand erect.    The smoothness of a person’s stride is one of the outward signs of this type of neural organization.    The organized neurological function of the brain itself depends on the very subtle and synchronous respiratory motion to the bones of the skull, which pumps the cerebral spinal fluid.    This fluid is responsible for proper circulation and drainage within the brain.    Many reflex (automatic) neurological functions center the pelvis to gravity and to the head and others right the head to gravity, the environment, and the pelvis.    These functions maintain the alignment of the spine.

The functioning person is a delicate balance of the interaction of the muscular, skeletal, neurological, and emotional systems.    For example a muscle to move a bone, another muscle must release.    The neurological system must send the correct signal to the proper muscles, and the emotional system must perceive and direct the proper signal.

Fortunately, the body does most of these actions automatically.    However, when upset by stress or trauma, a person often treats the symptoms of a dysfunction, not its causes.    Neural Organization Technique works to correct the root of the dysfunction to bring healing and wholeness.

Early in 1979, a Brooklyn chiropractor, Dr. Carl Ferreri, recognized the importance of the survival systems of the body.    These systems ensure our ability to respond to stimuli, to feed and sustain, protect, repair, and create new life.    As he examined each system, (the logic of the living body and its neurological blue print) its order and priority became evident.

Dr. Ferreri recognized that the body and its multitude of functions could be compared to a computer with very specific programs for every eventuality.    Some programs, like the basis for survival, were built in; while others were apparently developed, learned, or put together, as the need arose.    Further investigation proved that these learned programs were actually extensions of the primary programs with specific neurological priority systems.    While these systems were created to work together perfectly, physical, emotional, and chemical trauma could disturb their functions.    This disturbance creates the imbalance.

Dr. Ferreri developed a system to restore the body’s major organizational and control functions.    This system Neural Organization Technique (N.O.T) uses muscle testing to assess and access dysfunction in order to permit N.O.T protocols to be applied to the causes rather than the symptoms.    N.O.T protocols balance the muscular, neurological, and emotional systems in relation to each other and to their environment.

By dealing with causes, not the symptoms, N.O.T can be used to improve many conditions that have been considered difficult or impossible to improve.    These include TMJ, whiplash, head injuries, scoliosis, high blood pressure, menstrual disorders, dyslexia, and immune disorders.
Touch for Health is a synthesis of Applied Kinesiology that allows the lay person to learn the same methods used by health professionals to evaluate the function and effectiveness of muscles and the implementation of the muscle balancing techniques to restore health and harmony.

Touch for Health uses a 14 muscle (and meridian) test and balance program.    This program uses a Fix As You Go approach as you test the 14 muscles.    As imbalanced muscles are identified, the muscles are balanced and restored.

Through muscle testing your body, you learn what is beneficial.    Working with responses from each individual means that the treatment is extremely personal and does not require and previous experience or knowledge.

There are two primary kinds of Touch for Health corrections: Neuro-Lymphatic Massage and Neuro-Vascualar Holding Points.    In general, neuro-lymphatic reflex points help the body turn on the mechanisms to unblock the communication system, which allows the body to respond.    Neuro-vascular reflexes patterns influence more than one muscle and improve overall muscle response.
Three-in-One balances the individual on all levels - the body, the conscious mind, and the subconscious mind.    This technique is effective for diffusing emotional stress.

Our beliefs and attitudes are made up from our experiences, everything that has ever happened to us, everything we have ever said, and everything that has ever been said to us.    All of these attitudes and experiences are stored in our subconscious mind and cells in our body.

The memory of negative past experiences is there and has an effect on our present time decisions even though we may not be consciously aware.    When making decisions, these emotions determine our emotional reactions.    The Three-in-One balance frees you to make different decisions and reach your full potential.
Flower Essences created by Edward Bach, medical doctor, bacteriologist, and homeopathic physician, dedicated his life to discovering a system of healing which would go beyond the diagnosis and treatment of physical symptoms to address the emotional and mental roots of disease.

Dr. Bach believed that the source of all illness is conflict between one's higher self, which wishes to realize its full potential, and the personality (or ego) which may obstruct this realization through limiting beliefs and actions.    This obstruction expresses itself through blockages, which prevent the wishes of the higher self from being heard.

Because each flower essence has the same energy as that of the desire the higher self wants to fulfill, it is able to make direct contact with this energy, strengthening the higher self to dissolve the energy blockages.
Essential Oils are aromatic liquids extracted from nature’s plants.    In ancient times, essential oils were called precious oils and sacred oils. They were used anciently for physical wellbeing, longevity, beauty, courage, wealth and political power.

Their function in nature is to keep plants healthy, free of infection, to repel harmful insects, and to communicate--to each other, to insects, to animals, and to us.    Essential oils affect us similar to the way they affect plants, acting on our immune systems, our muscles, internal organs, skin and circulation, and even our emotions.

Plant fragrances are made of nature's molecules, which are complex substances whose structure allows them to pass easily and quickly through our skin, and through the cell membranes of every cell in our bodies.    We breathe them in and instantly, as they touch the brain, the molecules of essential oils enliven neurons, inspire emotions, awaken immune response, stimulate hormones, which can then enhance energy, digestion, mental clarity, body temperature, circulation, and the feeling of being connected to nature.

Just one drop of an essential oil can stimulate our immune activity, open our lungs, enhance our hearing, ease tired and achy muscles, and improve flexibility.
Kinergetics is a modality of Kinesiology that encompasses the other modalities together, and brings them together in a very logical way.

The human body is like a house that is constantly being rebuilt to an energetic plan.    Our body is made of energy and stress & emotional issues can cause energy blocks in our body or energy fields.    This blocked energy causes damage to the plan creating areas of weakness to form in the body. When extra pressure is placed on this weak area, an injury is more likely to occur.

Kinergetics’ aim is to strengthen the weak areas of the body by balancing the energy field, which may allow the body to repair itself.
